Fernando Botero (19 de abril de 1932, Medellín, Colombia) es el artista latinoamericano vivo más cotizado a nivel mundial, además de ser un icono mundial del arte, con una extensa obra reconocida por todos. An indispensable figure on many international art and social scenes in at least three continents, Botero's "persona" might be compared to that of one of the 17th Century artists he so much admires, Peter Paul Rubens.
